A few showers and thunderstorms could linger through early afternoon, but most areas should be drying out as the day goes on. A strong storm can’t be ruled out, with gusty winds and locally heavy rain possible.Skies should gradually clear, with afternoon highs in the low to mid-80s. Tonight looks quieter and more comfortable, with temperatures in the 60s.Coastal and boating conditions are expected to improve, though a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect offshore through this afternoon. Minor tidal flooding may continue along the St. Johns River through this evening’s high tide, and beachgoers should still use caution because rip currents remain a moderate risk.A beautiful, sunny, comfortable week ahead with a big cool down coming later in the week!
