Juvenile injured in crash in NW Jamestown

JAMESTOWN — A juvenile was injured on Friday, Oct. 9, after his electric dirt bike struck a vehicle in northwest Jamestown, according to Lt. Andrew Staska with the Jamestown Police Department. Staska said the boy, age and city of residence unknown, was driving the electric dirt bike south on 4th Avenue Northwest while a female driver, age unknown, Jamestown, was driving a vehicle eastbound on 3rd Street Northwest shortly before 3:20 p.m. Staska said the electric dirt bike struck the driver side of the vehicle. Staska said the boy suffered injuries that were not life threatening. He said the boy was not wearing a helmet. Jamestown Area Ambulance transported the boy to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The female driver was not injured. The Jamestown Police Department is investigating the crash. The Stutsman County Sheriff s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol also responded to the scene. ]]>
